Knjaževac - Little Venice in eastern Serbia.

The memorial park is part of the cultural and historical heritage of the town and is a monument to the people of Timok who fell in the wars. This park is an interesting example of uniting the past through the presentation of historical events in Knjaževac from 1804. until the end of the Second World War.

The memorial park is the work of an architect, Bogdan Bogdanović. It also houses a fountain erected in the spring of 1953 . The sculpture of two fishermen made in bronze was made by the sculptor from Korčula, Petar Palavičini, with the help of voluntary contributions from Knjaževac craftsmen.
