The festival was created as a memory of this famous and deserving Knjaževac native. The memory of the composer, dean of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and the organizer of musical life, will live through the music of renowned performers of classical music and will be held at the most important locations in Knjaževac. The goal is to preserve and promote artistic music, primarily Serbian creativity, but also to bring this type of music closer to young people in Knjazevac and its surroundings. Numerous studies have shown that artistic music stimulates the cognitive and emotional development of young people, and it is necessary to increase the number of such concerts outside of Belgrade. Also, the expected outcome is an increase in the interest of the youngest in music and art in general.
