He was accused of participating in the Timok revolt and sentenced to death. He escaped to Bulgaria. After the Second World War, Marshal Tito received him at the White Palace, as a prominent fighter for human rights.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The museum of the City of Knja\u017eevac is located in the house of Aleksa Aca Stanojevi\u0107, a radical champion, a close associate of Nikola Pa\u0161i\u0107, the President of the National Parliament of Serbia. The house is a cultural monument. It was built in 1910. according to the plans of the Viennese entrepreneur Volker, and modelled after Italian villas in the Art Nouveau style. The museum contains personal of Ace Stanojevi\u0107&#8217;s study, vases, porcelain, clocks and many other exhibits obtained from old Knja\u017eevac families.
