The Archeological Ethno Park in the village of Ravna is located eight kilometers north of Knja\u017eevac and is an unusual destination for lovers of customs, traditions and cultural heritage, which takes us back two hundred years to the life of the village from the late 19th and early 20th century. The old Moravian house, built of bondruk, was moved from Stara planina. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The old Morava house, built of bondruk, was moved from Stara Planina. Imagine a host welcoming guests on a wooden doxa and placing them on a tripod around the fireplace. Feel the spirit of old times at least for a moment and think was life like then! In the yard there is a “ground floor” with wreaths of peppers hunging on uneven walls, and a little further there is a cauldron for the production of brandy with a pipe made of cherry wood, and a pottery workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a research station for students and scientists in the old village school, and a lapidary with Roman monuments found at the late antique site of Timacum minus, which is nearby. A statue of Dionysus, the wine god of the ancient Romans, was also found at this site, and in the basement of one of the houses there is a wine museum with a wine shop.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>
